I worked with 2 front-end, 2 backend developers, and 1 data analyst. As the sole designer on this effort, I took the responsibility of data analysis, stakeholder engagement, collaborating with tech and data to understand the requirements. I also made sure the designs were translated as per the requirements.

Backstory

Shortlist is a recruitment platform that matches candidates in India and Kenya with relevant opportunities. As part of the new project "Recommendation engine", we needed to capture additional data points from the job seekers in order to show relevant job listings to them.

Twist in the tale

Data analysis showed that a lot of candidates were dropping off, which made us rethink the scope of the project - right from 3 engineering days to at least 3 weeks*.*

Current conversion rate: 15.7%
